Great Blue Heron No. 1

Several months ago my gf, ~AngelleDeGuerre, had a 6 AM shoot call time on south Miami Beach. I drove the 4 hour stretch there so she could be fresh, and while she worked I followed the seagulls & a mating pair of Great Blue Herons around a jetty where they cluster starting at sunrise. The herons were remarkably used to people, there were 3 other photographers out shooting them, and I was able to get VERY close. I spent about 10 minutes following this one along the waterline, and I caught this shot of him coming in from a low swoop off the jetty.
